BassRankings.com Names KVD as Nation's Top Tournament Angler

Sean Ostruszka at BassRankings.com sent us a note to point out that his website also offers a ranking of pro tournament bass anglers, and that it's based on a somewhat different set of criteria than some others. Here's his pitch:

"A year ago we launched BassRankings.com with the sole purpose of rankings professional anglers. We use a "batting average" type formula based on the percentage of the field beaten; this way the rankings are purely statistical. While we respect other rankings out there, we spent two years consulting top professional anglers and industry personnel to come up with the criteria for the formula, and not surprisingly, they have been incredibly supportive since we launched.

Plus, we don't just rank anglers on the FLW Tour and BASS Elite Series. We have rankings for Minor anglers (BASS Opens, FLW EverStart Series), Women (LBAA) and even co-anglers, with plans to expand to even more tours in the near future. Along with offering a current two-year ranking, Bass Rankings offers a Custom Search option where you can rank anglers in various ways, such as over longer or shorter time periods, by state or even by the body of water."

Under Ostruszka's ranking system, none other than KVD comes out on top. Here's the current Top Ten ranking for the pro level anglers, per BassRankings.com:
